This is a fly fishing blog for AZ residents who would like information on the different trout streams and lakes in the state. We hope to also provide information on the different patterns and techniques that have resulted in our success.

East Clear Creek
Hit the water this weekend and found some nice fish. Got into a big brown in particular. I enclosed some pics i would say this fish is pushing 24+ inches and 6+ pounds. I found this brown in some non-descript back water and he followed my bugger back to me and hit it about 15 feet from my boots. A long fight lead to the pics. Also landed a 20 inch rainbow that ill send your way later. Enjoy! (This trip was on May 7th, 2011)

Wow awesome pics! Do you mind if I ask which crossing you guys started from? I've done kinder, horse, and mack's crossing and am planning on doing hamilton this friday. You guys have any pattern recommendations? I'm pretty new to fly fishing only started about a year ago. Thanks!
